BERLIN 3 ESSENTIALS CONFERENCES
After years of clinical practice Dr. Tan has discovered that many difficult disorders are based on one or more of these factors : Timing/Seasonal Factors, Environmental Factors and Constitutional Personality Factors. Some of Dr. Tan's previous classes have discussed the importance of "Timing" when devising a treatment. "Seasonal Balance" and "Balancing the Five Elements " are two classes that utilize the Ba Gua in order to devise treatments. Now Dr. Tan has advanced this science by using an individual's Ba-Zi chart to create a unique and individualized treatment. Prerequisite : Level 2
This advanced level of study is for students who have been practicing the methods discussed in the first 2 levels and want to advance their knowledge of the Three Essentials. Dr. Tan will go into a deeper understanding of Tian Gan (Heavenly Stems) and Di Zhi ( Earthly Branches ) in relation to an in-depth and sophisticated analysis of complicated cases. Both theory and practical application will be focused on, and Dr. Tan will analyze complex patterns that need a great depth of insight based on the knowledge learned in the first 2 levels. As always, class discussion and demos will show how to devise treatments based on the info learned.

Prerequisite : Level 3
This is the most advanced of the Three Essentials seminars and will be reserved for dedicated students who have been practicing the Three Essentials in clinical practice. Dr. Tan feels this will be the most hands-on weekend and he will allow for a great deal of case studies and discussion in this seminar. He will discuss his own cases, but mostly encourage students to bring up their own successes and challenges in laying out birth charts and applying it into practice. He will also go further into the idea of environmental factors, relationships to those surrounding you and how to "customize" treatments.
