The Balance Method and Dr TAN
Originally born in Taiwan , Dr Tan has become acquainted with Chinese medicine very early within his family. While studying in the scientific scholar field, he has benefited from the rigorous training of his Masters in Acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Martial Art and Philosophy. He has also taken interest in various classic texts of Chinese medicine. As a young engineer and traditional Chinese man, he has treated numerous patients along with the medical team of a military hospital in Taiwan .
Dr Tan carried on his post graduate study and earned A degree in engineering in the United States meanwhile he kept an overwhelming enthusiasm doing researches in Chinese medicine. It would be too challenging to make a list of all the ancient pieces of writing that nourish his thoughts. Classical texts specifically emphasize that acupuncture should give instant results, just as the shadow appears immediately after a pole is placed under the sun. This instant clinical efficacy has become the main line of Dr Tan’s researching efforts. So the Balance Method is the fruit of a deep study of precious ancient literature, a scientific and modern engineer oriented analysis and personal effort as well as unlimited.
Dr Tan has dedicated his life to the development of an extraordinary acupuncture strategy that reaches clinical results within seconds after needle insertion. For more than 15 years, he has also devoted himself to teaching his Art in Northern America and Europe . His students benefits from his years of experience in Acupuncture and Chinese herbs, but also from the richness of his master’s knowledge and wisdom in Ba Zi, Qi Gong, and in Feng Shui. Dr Tan’s seminars are always dynamic and lively. He personally makes sure that every student has the opportunity to ask questions, to understand and assimilate his teaching so that they can put it into practice the next morning in the clinic back home. At the end of each class day, by demonstrating live how to use his method to treat patients and then obtaining the instant result in any acupuncture treatment, he proves this is not just a concept or belief, this is fact in front of your eyes ! Since simplicity is his golden rule for successful diagnosis and treatments, Dr Tan always favours a logical and sound approach that the practitioner can follow which results in quickly designing a precise strategy to treat every individual patients. Thus, Master Tan continues discovering and sharing treasures of traditional Chinese Medicine and Culture with no dissimulation.
Dr Tan now lives in San Diego , USA where he treats more than 120 patients a week. He also trains his disciples and welcomeS practitioners from all over the world to observe.
